Image Northumbria Photography is an environmentally conscious and responsible
company. We are therefore committed to reducing our environmental impact
in a sustainable manner.
To carry out this commitment, it is our policy to strive to ensure that all
aspects of the business have the least harmful effect on the environment by:
• Being aware of all environmental legislation and ensuring that
regulatory requirements are met and, where feasible, improved upon
• Monitoring the implementation of our environmental policy
• Expecting similar environmental standards from all suppliers and
contractors
• Reducing waste through re-use and recycling of paper and other
materials
• Purchasing recycled, recyclable or re-furbished products and materials
where these alternatives are available, economical and suitable and as
far as possible purchasing products and services that do the least
damage to the environment and encouraging others to do the same
• Minimising energy and water usage, vehicle usage and minimising our
consumption of natural resources, especially where they are nonrenewable
• Operating and maintaining vehicles used for business purposes with
due regard to environmental issues as far as reasonably practical and
try to reduce travel by planning and doubling up journeys or using
alternative means of transport where appropriate
• Assessing the environmental impact of any new processes or products
we intend to introduce in advance
