Competition Terms & Conditions
Competitions/prize draws are not open to employees of Image Northumbria Photography or its affiliated companies, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the competition.
Only one entry per person is allowed.
Entries will only be accepted via this website or in person at @fernavenue.
Responsibility cannot be accepted for lost or undelivered entries.
Image Northumbria Photography, reserves the right to alter, amend or close the competition if necessary.
There are no cash alternatives.
Entry to this competition signifies acceptance of these terms and conditions which include the competition instructions and rules.
A list of winners will be posted on the competition pages for at least two weeks after the closing date.
Image Northumbria Photography reserve the right to publish names of competition winners in relation to publicity.
In the event of a dispute, the decision of Image Northumbria Photography. will be final.
Limited to the residents of the UK only unless otherwise stated.
Where the specific competition rules conflict with these terms and conditions then the specific competition rules will apply.
What type of paper do you print on?
Fuji standard crystal archive for glossy prints and Fuji DP Professional paper for the lustre prints.
Most prints are made with a lustre finish as we prefer the effect but should you require a glossy finish, please ask.
Do you do your own printing?
No. Printing is one of the most expensive elements and as such we outsource all our printing to a professional photographic printing company. This is the same company we use personally for exhibition and competition photography, as well as what's on our walls at home!
Colour Matching
It is important to point out that the finished print colour or saturation may not be identical to that featured on the website. Great care has been taken to portray a true and accurate rendition of the image on the website, although the personal settings of a monitor and computer may well affect web images viewed by third parties.
Mounting
Black or white?
We all have our personal taste when it comes to mounting a print and a lot of the time the members of Image Northumbria cannot agree! The choice is yours.
What Mount Board do you use?
We use Daler Rowney Studland Board, which has a Standard Core. It is acid neutral, and is 1.4mm thick.
What is Backing Board?
Backing Board is used to strengthen the mount product and hide the masking of the mount. We use our mount board as the backing and all prints sold as mounted are backed.
Canvas Prints
All of the images on our website can be printed onto high quality artist’s canvas which has been stabilised to further enhance the image and its durability. It is then professionally hand-stretched over a 1" inch wooden frame, bringing the image to life. It’ll come ready to hang and transform your room instantly with a stunning piece of artwork!
Printing at high resolution using state of the art Ultrachrome inks, ensures your finished piece is vibrant and remains colour-fast for over 75 years. This technique is far superior to the more commonly used UV based inks.
As soon as we receive your order its creation will begin, so please allow up to 10 days for delivery.
Photo Copyright, who owns it?
Please note that the purchase of your print involves ownership only. It does NOT infer or confer in any way a transfer of image rights. Copyright of the image remains in the possession of the photographer named at all times. Purchase ownership does not permit any manner of unauthorised publication, copying, duplication, reproduction or exhibition of that image for retail or commercial purposes. The abuse and infringement of copyright is a serious legal matter and should it occur then the photographer will be obliged to take appropriate action.

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within 30 Days of receipt and receive a free replacement or full refund (less Shipping). Return Instructions:
Prior to returning any item(s) to Image Northumbria please notify us by e-mail at image.northumbria@hotmail.co.uk or in writing to Alexander Perry, 12 Romsey Grove, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE15 8TD.

Specify reason for return: damaged, received incorrect item or size, received duplicate item, quality of item not as expected, etc.
Specify what action you would like us to take for you: Replacement or Refund?
We will contact you with your Return Authorization & Instructions within 72 hours of reciept of your request
Once we have received your returned item(s), we will notify you via e-mail of your refund. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 14 business days of our receiving your return. To return your item(s) please pack them in the original tube or suitable packaging. If your return is not due to our error, we will deduct the shipping costs from your refund.
Why does the image have writing on it?
All of our images shown on the website are both small and are watermarked. This is an unfortunate need in this day and age to stop the downloading and theft of images. Supplied images do not have any of the writing seen here.
Delivery
We aim to send out all prints within 10 working days* of the reciept of order. Some more popular prints are kept in stock and others have to be printed. Should you require a specific delivery date to be met, please ask and we will advise you if this is possible.
*Working days are Monday to Friday
